With care for everybody!
During a periodic check-up, we carefully examine the health of your teeth and gums. We check for early signs of cavities, gum problems, and the condition of existing fillings or crowns. We also look for tartar and any signs of inflammation.
If necessary, we take X-rays to get a better view of what is happening between the teeth and beneath the gums. This allows us to detect problems at an early stage, often before you experience any symptoms.
With regular check-ups, we help keep your teeth healthy and can often prevent more extensive treatments in the future.
When a tooth has been affected by decay or damage, it can be restored with a filling. During the treatment, we remove the affected part of the tooth and restore it using a tooth-colored material, allowing the tooth to regain its shape and function.
The treatment is usually carried out under local anesthesia, so you experience as little discomfort as possible. Modern fillings closely match the natural color of your teeth, making them virtually invisible.
After the filling has been placed, you can use your tooth normally again.
When the nerve of a tooth has become inflamed or has died, a root canal treatment may be necessary. During this treatment, we remove the inflamed tissue from the root canals and carefully clean the inside of the tooth. The canals are then filled and sealed to prevent further problems.
Many people feel anxious about this treatment, but it does not have to be painful. With proper anesthesia, we ensure that you are as comfortable as possible during the procedure.
After the treatment, the tooth can function normally again. In some cases, we may recommend a crown to provide extra strength to the tooth. By treating the problem in time, we can often prevent the tooth from needing to be removed.
